The Safe Web Project was created to make internet and research surfing safer and more effective through a thorough rating system that effectively identifies websites as safe from imbedded worms/viruses and spam.
Our mission: To inform the internet community of websites that may be potentially harmful to your computer by using our five star rating system that was created to label thoroughly researched websites as either safe or unsafe based on certain criteria.
Our goal: To assist parents, students, teachers, families, and individuals in safe research of useful and safe websites that will assist them with in finding what they are looking for without the unwanted worms/viruses/spam that comes with most popular websites including search engines. We are determined to help individuals in research and other internet activties by offering a list of sites that are deemed safe/unsafe by our system. |
